The digestion process starts with chewing the food in the mouth, and the saliva in the mouth contains enzymes like Amylase1, which breaks down the food into sugar particles like Glucose. The acidic fluids in the stomach secrete Hydrochloric acid, which kills the bacteria in the food to avoid infections and denture proteins. Peristalsis is the coordinated muscular contractions that mix the food with the digestive juices.

Digestion is the whole process which involves the functioning of the whole body. When one of the parts doesn’t work, body issues occur, such as digestive discomfort, which can be solved with natural teas.

The non-functioning of any parts can cause digestive issues, and that can be due to unhealthy food choices, stress, and not consuming the food on time. Although there are few natural products, teas help with digestive discomfort and keep the process in a good state. Teas keep the body’s muscles and parts calm, which helps the digestive system stay in perfect condition.

  2.  Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD): People having conditions like Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis may have this type of disorder where there is a cause of inflammation in the digestive tract. The symptoms include abdominal pains, diarrhoea, rectal bleeding and weight loss.
  3.  Celiac Disease: Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that is caused by the indigestion of gluten, which is a type of protein present in wheat, barley and rye. It damages the small intestine lining and symptoms would be boating, fatigue and diarrhoea.

1.2 Causes Of Digestion Issues:

  1. Dietary Factors: The digestive issue can be caused due to dietary factors like food that is rich in high fats, fibre and spice. If we consume food that we are allergic to and undigested particles like lactose and gluten then it may affect the digestive process.
  2. Lifestyle Factors: The lifestyle in which we live matters most to the health of the body. The type of food we consume, lack of exercise, inadequate hydration, and time management for sleep. A healthier lifestyle is the most important requirement for good health and longevity.
  3. Stress: The daily life stress and anxiety can cause the serious issues of indigestion. Due to stress, the body cells don’t function properly, and the digestive system also and blood pressure stay high, which affects the digestive system.

Although keeping a regular check on the diet and exercise can solve the digestive issues and its causes also. The body also needs utmost care and nutrition for proper functioning. When the food we intake doesn’t function like absorbing the nutrition aside and mixes the useful juices of the body then the digestive discomfort occurs.
